Measuring distance and angles (Norway)

Three teachers in Norway decided to teach their class groups about angles and measurements through their iTEC project work. The pupils used GPS-enabled personal devices and laser measurement tools, while also using analogue tools (metre-wheel and tape-measure).  The pupils took measurements around the school grounds, and then compared their findings to the maps on kartiskolen.no, Norway’s digital map service.
