Adding widgets to the store

If you are a registered user of the Widget Store, you can upload widgets. But the widget store also allows you to create new widgets out web pages and flash files. To start creating a new widget you first click the menu option: Upload New Widget. This gives you access to three different ways of adding widgets to the store:

• Embedding existing web content
• Creating widgets based on a flash file
• Uploading an existing widget

You can find more information on each of these options in the iTEC environments' manual section on The Widget Store. Here you can also find a description of how to create W3C widgets from scratch if you have existing content that you want to make available as widgets in the widget store.
